Lily and Schammy reached the park after a party. Cups, a bag, and a bottle lay near the swing. Lily thought, someone else will clean it. Then a bird tugged the bag with its beak.
Genesis 2:15 says God placed humanity in the garden to tend and keep it. Psalm 24:1 says the earth is the Lord's. Caring for creation does not make nature our god; it shows gratitude to the God who made it.
John 1 teaches that all things were made through Christ. Jesus, our Creator and Savior, teaches love for God and neighbor. A clean place can protect people and animals, but a child must never touch glass, needles, chemicals, or dangerous trash. Tell a safe adult.
Lily found her dad. With gloves and supervision, they collected safe items, sorted recycling where available, and left the park better. The Holy Spirit can turn gratitude into faithful care without fear or pride.
Practice C.A.R.E.: Consider what God made, Admit it belongs to Him, Respond with one safe step, and Express thanks to Jesus. Care for one place with an adult this week.
